Comments to the Green Paper "preparing forest to climate change"
19 July 2018. CEETTAR presented its comments to the Commission public consultation on the Green Paper on “forest protection and information in the EU: Preparing forests for climate change".
CEETTAR invited the Commission to foster the consultation process of all the stakeholders in the preparatory and implementation phases of any new community initiatives. The forestry contractors have become with time a key part ofthe production chain in the forest management for both the enhancement of thesocio-economic value and the protection of the environmental characteristics ofthe forest.
